About the last loop for this kind of edge: I always do the last loop as the reverse and the first one just move from the left needle to the right without binding, working thread after work, pull up the thread if you'd like to have the strong edge.

Домучила вчера вечером обвязку по горловине пончо, решила всё же сделать рельефными столбиками, аля «изабель». Теперь в раздумьях по поводу обвязки низа, и надо ли мне манжеты… наверное всё же без манжет и простенькая обвязка, чтобы придать законченный вид…
Да, именно узор меня привлёк, по-моему прекрасно подошёл к этим ниточкам.
